Mr. & Mrs. Steele

Sent this gallery off to the bride and groom last weekend, but I have been just as excited to get this posted to share with others, too. Kaitlyn and Shawn had a GORGEOUS day for an August wedding. Whenever I book a wedding that time of year, I know the weather is a gamble. Especially temperature. This year though, August 24th was the most perfect late summer/early fall day you could ask for. The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature. Like that comfy in a dress, not too hot in a suit, comfortable for all of your guests at your outdoor ceremony kind of nice.

From a beautiful outdoor ceremony, to a fun and vintage venue, their wedding day was so cute. Kaitlyn and Shawn are ten years in the making, and finally got to make it official in front of their friends and family. A day that all of their loved ones have been watching unfold for almost a decade. I love witnessing these types of marriage because these two have been through thick and thin together and have only grown closer. After their ceremony, I overheard their pastor tell them how special their love for one another is. "After a couple has been together this many years, and I still see the groom cry for his bride...this just proves to me that you both still love each other beyond measure." I love seeing a love that's still fresh and head over heels. That's the love that I love to capture. Kaitlyn was so detail oriented in her planning. When I met with her months before the wedding, she already had all of her ducks in a row, and it showed throughout the day. From her table at the entrance of the reception honoring those that were watching from heaven, to the activity sheets for the little ones to color on throughout the night, this bride had thought of it all. Their wedding was thorough and beautiful.
